Laser devices for Parkinson’s patients

Parkinson’s Disease affects hundreds of thousands of people every day. Freezing of gait remains one of the most common debilitating aspects of Parkinson’s disease and has been linked to injuries, falls and reduced quality of life. 

This is when your body is in a mild state of paralysis, W either you are walking, sleeping or awake. 
Other side effects are foot shuffling, this is when a person cannot or finds it difficult to walk without lifting their feet entirely up off the ground.
Researchers noticed immediate improvements during gait initiation when using laser device, visual cues help patients walk with longer, more natural steps again.

Please find below two laser devices designated specially for Parkinson’s patients. They project a red laser line or a cross onto the ground providing the patient with a visual cues to follow.
